Section 6.1 of the Superintendent Contract requires a meeting in March of each school year to conduct the summative evaluation of Superintendent performance. Per the Superintendent Contract, the evaluation “shall be based upon the Superintendent’s job description, and upon any goals and objectives with performance standards as agreed by the Board and Superintendent”. Per the monitoring report schedule mutually agreed to by the Board and the Superintendent in October of this school year, monitoring report presentation and acceptance will continue through May of 2023 to enable the Board to review and evaluate District performance associated with each of the Board End Statements. Extending this requirement for SY 2022-2023 will allow time to complete acceptance of all remaining monitoring reports and to better assess the full performance of the Superintendent. |

That the Board of Education extend the requirement under Section 6.1 of the Superintendent Contract to conduct the summative evaluation of Superintendent performance for SY 2022-2023 to no later than the end of June 2023. |
