Summary :

On May 29, 2024 the Douglas County School District (DCSD) Construction Department issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to all twenty-six (26) DCSD pre-qualified architects. Based upon Hollis + Miller’s extensive experience designing and administering Career & Technical Education (CTE) projects in occupied schools, staff selected Hollis + Miller for the Highlands Ranch High School CTE Automotive Lab Renovations project included in the 2024 Bond.
Architectural and engineering design and construction administration services are required for this project. Therefore, an Architect Agreement was issued to Hollis + Miller for $668,250 (10% of the construction costs), which includes reimbursable expenses. The fee for the contracted services has been verified and is within industry standards.
This project and fee were included in the 2024 Bond planning budgets and these funds will be utilized for this award.
