Summary :
|
The State of Colorado requires a formal written agreement between local stormwater jurisdictions and Douglas County School District (DCSD) for schools with populations of 1,000 or more students and staff. The agreement documents procedures and responsibilities which have already been in place for DCSD school sites. Specifically, jurisdictions inspect stormwater infrastructure and DCSD performs all required maintenance. An agreement is required between DCSD and the Town of Castle Rock. This partnership with local jurisdictions for the inspection of stormwater infrastructure saves DCSD in staff resources.
The agreement with Douglas County School District and the Town of Castle Rock has been finalized for approval by the Board of Education.
