Summary :

Academy Sports Turf submitted a proposal for this project through The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS - USA), a national purchasing cooperative that serves public education organizations, higher education entities, and city or county governments.
Per Board Policy DJ, TIPS meets all requirements of a formal competitive procurement process to secure the best value to the District. Based on the proposal, a Construction Agreement was issued to Academy Sports Turf for $575,500 for the synthetic turf replacement at ThunderRidge High School.
This turf replacement project is included in the 2024 Bond Plan and the 2024 Bond funds will pay for this award.
