Summary :
|
The Douglas County Board of County Commissioners (“BOCC”) owns two parcels of real property which were dedicated to the County for School District use in accordance with the County’s Subdivision Resolution and the Douglas County School District Board of Education owns real property adjacent to one of these sites. These sites have been referred to as the Toepfer Park school site and the Sweetwater Park school site. The Board of Education has declared these sites as surplus property and initiated efforts to sell the sites. The County desires to acquire these sites from the District for park purposes.
