Summary :

The Board of Education and Local 1737 Amalgamated Transit Union ("Union") are parties to a collective bargaining agreement which is scheduled to renew July 1, 2023 for a three year term. Therefore, the Board is asked to approve the agreement through June 30, 2026.

Recommendation:

That the Board approve the Agreement between the Board of Education of the Douglas County School District RE-1 and Local 1737 Amalgamated Transit Union which extends the new Agreement through June 30, 2026 with all provisions of the Agreement remaining as set forth therein during the terms of this Agreement under adoption of Consent Agenda.
