Summary :
|
The State of Colorado requires a formal written agreement between local stormwater jurisdictions and Douglas County School District (DCSD) for schools. The agreement documents procedures and responsibilities which have already been in place for DCSD school sites. Specifically, jurisdictions inspect stormwater infrastructure and DCSD performs all required maintenance. An agreement is required between DCSD and the City of Castle Pines. This partnership with the City of Castle Pines for the inspection of stormwater infrastructure saves DCSD in staff resources.
The agreement with Douglas County School District and the City of Castle Pines has been finalized for approval by the Board of Education.
